OneCloud privacy

OneCloud is a live geostationary Earth globe for iPhone and iPad. It shows current cloud imagery on a 3D Earth and can optionally place a GPS waypoint on that globe. Support: vibealive.us/support.html.

What OneCloud collects

OneCloud does not create an account. It does not run ads, analytics SDKs, or tracking.

Precise location is used only after you agree to in-app location terms and tap Locate, and only after you grant Apple’s When In Use permission. Coordinates stay on this device to draw a pin. They are never uploaded, sold, or used for advertising. De-Locate removes the pin and stops updates. If you decline the in-app terms, Locate is hidden.

The app may store on this device whether you accepted location terms, and a temporary 4K JPEG if you export the globe (Share or Save to Photos; you choose).

Imagery

Cloud and Earth textures are loaded from public visualization services (NOAA NESDIS STAR GOES GeoColor, NASA GIBS / EOSDIS, AMRC/AMRDC Antarctic infrared composites, and related geostationary feeds). Those requests do not include your location or Apple ID. Imagery remains with NOAA, NASA, JMA/JAXA, CIRA, AMRDC, and the agencies named in the app credits.

Permissions

• Location (When In Use, precise) — optional GPS waypoint. Deny it and the globe still works.
• Photos (Add Only) — optional. Only when you choose Save to Photos on a 4K export. OneCloud can add that still; it does not read your existing library. Share still works without Photos permission.
• Local network — optional. Only used if you run the Mac sidecar on the same machine as the Simulator. Store builds use NOAA/NASA over HTTPS.

Share uses the system share sheet (Messages, Mail, AirDrop, Files, and more). Save to Photos is separate and add-only.

OneCloud does not sell personal data.
